One day in Louisville. Four truths on the record.

The Story

  1. 01

    The problem

    Off a crashing, legacy platform

Jeff had run Sicilian Pizza & Pasta since 2009. The old system crashed, felt unfriendly to staff and diners, and aged out fast.

We had a lot of problems with the system crashing. It was not very user friendly, and it got outdated really quick, because in technology everything goes so fast.

  2. 02

    The kitchen

    Straight into the kitchen

Orders now land where the work happens. No phone tag, no re-keying, no lag between the click and the ticket.

That app shoots that ticket directly into our kitchen, where our staff start making it. It comes out, it’s boxed up and ready to be picked up.

  3. 03

    The data

    Full control of the data

Jeff can see what is selling, when it is selling, and what his regulars order again. The numbers belong to the restaurant, not a marketplace.

Being able to have full control of the data, to see what orders are coming in, what your most popular dishes are, having that is so valuable.

  4. 04

    Peak volume

Derby week, and the phone does not ring

March through November is convention season in Louisville. Derby turns Tuesday through Saturday into one rush. Orders come in online, priced and timed, already in the kitchen, with delivery on ChowNow’s managed driver network.

It has really driven our sales up on the digital side, and it is phenomenal. The customers have raved about how easy it is on their side.

Upgrade, and do it as quick as possible. You will not be disappointed.

It’s going to save you 15 to 18% of what you’re paying on those third-party apps, and we can deliver it or have it ready for pickup just as they do.

The Shoot

No studio, no set. The crew filmed the story where it happens, and the day produced its own photography.
